Of course, I couldn't go to Southern California without a trip to Disneyland! The last time I went to Disneyland, I was with AJ, Sabin, their neighbor and two little kids, so it was nice to have an "adults only" day with my friend, Molly. (My friend, Courtney, couldn't go; last minute, as her dog got sick!)
We didn't want to overcommit ourselves, so we only focused on California Adventure vs. Disneyland or trying to do both parks. This also meant that we go to avoid some of the crowds and highly energetic children for the first few hours.
We managed to get right onto Toy Story Mania! and into several rides with hardly any wait. Another highlight, the Carsland ride (through the benefit of "single rider" passes) and "The World of Color," hosted by my childhood crush, Neil Patrick Harris.
