A space to start working on my book. Will it be about the Korean-American (transracial) adoptee experience? Will it be about managing my Dad’s life as a fraud victim during the early days of the Covid-19 global pandemic? Will it be about my journey through endometrial cancer while losing my Dad? So many things to write about…what do you want to know? Let’s figure it out!
2022: I was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer and my Dad suddenly passed away in September. I haven’t been keeping up much with this blog, but hope to share some stories in the future. Hopefully, this will be a good place to document some of my experiences and share good memories of my parents.
I have a passion for entertainment and popular culture. I love going to Broadway shows. I love to eat. I love to explore the city. I wanted a place to share my thoughts with my friends, family and the general public.
FYI: The name of the blog is a play on the way my Dad would say my name. "Em-o-lee-ah” or “Em-o-lee!”
Below you’ll find links that go to books I’ve read (organized by year), some social media posts, and what I watched at the start of the pandemic, while I was unemployed for about 18 months.
